Ten Big Ones by Janet Evanovich

audiobook
Rating 4/5

Stephanie Plum always makes me laugh and this time it's no exception. And there's always the love triangle between Ranger and Morelli. I wonder who she will pick in the end.

Plum Lovin by Janet Evanovich

Rating 3/5

I'm not sure if it is because I read this book instead of listening to it like I usually do of if it is because it is a between the numbers novel, but I did not find this Stephanie Plum book to be as good as the others. It had the usual parts, Grandma Mazur, Joe and Ranger, and some silly antics on the part of Stephanie and her family, but her just wasn't much meat to the book. It focused more on the matchmaking she had to do for a client, then her bounty hunter duties. However, it was still an entertaining book.

While Christ and His Saints Slept by Sharon Kay Penmen

Rating 3/5

I didn't find this book to be as good as Penman's Sunne in Splendor. It was certainly as long, though. It may be because it took me so long to read it, that I lost interest. WCASS is about the battle for the throne between Stephen and Maude. Maude is the rightful heir, but Stephen steals the crown from her before she can claim it. After that, many bloody battles ensue between the two of them. Once Maude realizes that she will never rule, she continues to fight to get he crown for her son. Once Henry and Eleanor of Aquitaine, soon to be Henry II comes into the book, it starts to get interesting. However, that is 3/4 of the way through.

Blueberry Muffin Murder by Joanne Fluke

audiobook
Rating 3/5

This was a cozy little mystery, like the Diane Mott Davidson books. It is about a caterer, Hannah Swenson, who solves murder mysteries. When a high powered caterer dies in Hannah's kitchen eating her blueberry muffins, Hannah takes it upon herself to solve the mystery. It was a nice easy relaxing read.
