As usual Stephanie Plum is up to her usual amusing hijinks. My husband listened briefly to the tape and found it hilarious. In this book, Stephanie is looking for missing persons, Evelyn and her daughter Annie instead of brining in a criminal. However, there is someone who does not want them to be found. Along with looking for Evelyn and Annie, there is Stephanie's perfect sister, Valerie, who has a nervous breakdown. a nerdy lawyer, Albert Cloughn, and Grandma Mazur. Morelli is not a big player in this book, but Ranger certainly is. Stephanie starts to realize that maybe she does want to marry Morelli, but hot Ranger keeps getting in the way.

Chopping Spree by Diane Mott Davidson

Another book with Goldy as the heroine that combines cooking and murder. You would think that people would notice that everywhere Goldy goes there is a murder and stop having her cater their events. In this book, Goldy is catering an event at the mall where the mall manager ends up dead. Goldy's young assistant Julian is named as the prime suspect. Goldy tries to clear Julian's name while keeping herself alive. The main suspects live in a material world where things and their name are worth killing for.
